how do you type the small heart charators???

go to menu....go to accesories....go to system tools......character map......select fonts....copy.....paste

If you are still using Windows '98 then you will have to select "symbols" on the font selector:
Go to "start" > "programs" > "accessories" > "system tools" > "character map" > "fonts" and then select "symbol." That takes you to where the symbols are. Now how to copy and paste them is something about which I'm not too sure.
Try this: Highlight the spade (for example); next click your cursor in the "characters to copy" box; then, click "select." (You can do this, I believe, for several symbols until you have all you want to copy in the "characters to copy" box that you want.) This then puts them on your clipboard viewer (accessible through "system tools." (I don't know to what types of documents the symbols will paste, though. I tried to paste the heart symbol here, but it didn't work. Hmmm!)

for the heart u need to hold down the "alt" button while pressing 3 on the number pad. the rest i cant help u.
