Go to the pound and help euthanize all the unwanted dogs- you'll see how many purebreds end up in the pound too.
Call rescue groups (each breed has a rescue group set up w/the AKC) and talk to them about breeding.
Don't be a backyard breeder and contribute to the overpopulation. Unless your dog won Westminster or some other big show, he's most likely not even worth breeding?
Have you looked into the costs of breeding responsibly? Having the dog OFA'd, Penn Hip'd, CERF, etc? A good breeder tries to better the breed... doesn't put more dogs out there just because they want to make a buck or keep a piece of their dog around.

Do the right thing and spay/neuter your dog

If you are serious about breeding, and not just doing it becuase you think your going to make money (AND YOU WONT, infact you will lose money.) than you can go to:

http://www.dogplay.com/Breeding/ethics.html

* Give all the information on being a responsible breeder, making the right chioce on wether breeding is right or wrong for you. Lets you know if you should buy a male/***** or just stud.

http://www.thepetcenter.com/gen/dbb.html

* lets you know what you are getting into, amount of money you will lose of this.

http://www.k9web.com/dog-faqs/breeding.html

* MAKE SURE YOU READ THIS! This shows some of the reasons why you should and shouldnt breed, discribed the process, cycles and equipment needed.

Now i wasnt sure on the breed, quality, or reason for your breeding. Just make sure your being responsible. I do not approve of breeding but I cannot control you. Please do be responsible and if you need help, get it.

Thank you, and hope you make the best chioce.

To see the results of many dog matings, go to the local dog pound. There are many dogs and puppies that would love a home.

I sincerely hope that nobody supplies you with this information as that would only encourage you to breed your dog, which you obviously are not qualified to do.

Save a life, have your dog neutered. If your dog was of breed quality you wouldn't have to ask, you would have had breeders asking about your champion.
