Could anyone direct me to a free manual i could print out or atleast refer to? ther person i got it from didnt have one. thanks.

I have a book that is the history and manual for all old Canon 35mm Cameras incl yours.

That camera is about 30 years old, so check eBay from time to time to see if anyone is clearing out their archives.

In fact, here - I did it for you. Just choose one that says "Buy-It-Now" so you aren't kept sitting on pins and needles waiting to find out if you are the winner.
