He punked you.
Guys are getting sick of chicks "threatening" them with a break up.
I bet he's hitting it hard every night, probably deep and hard paying his new chick back for your behaviour.
She's probably loving it !

It sounds like he wasn't too into the relationship for a while. You should never put up with a guy that does not respect you as an individual. How long were you involved?
It isn't strange for a guy to jump into a new relationship, especially if it was over for him before it actually ended. Just like it wouldn't be strange for a girl to do the same. Some guys will just treat you poorly so they don't have to do the breaking up (and vice versa). He has obviously moved on, and so should you. It will be hard, but you will get through it!

Reading these answers tells me how far apart men and women are in their thinking...the truth of the matter is: you threatened him with leaving and you finally did. He should have been prepared for it the second time you made the threat, and therefore you should have been the first time! Guys are much less complicated in their thinking than women; we don't need drama.
Once you took back the keys to the kingdom, he has the right and opportunity to do whatever he feels comfortable with; you no longer have any control or privileges in his life and that's the bottom line. You can't have your cake and eat it too, next time maybe you'll talk things out like adults and not make threats you don't intend to carry out and live with the results. Learn your lesson and move on.

people suck, but you did break up with him, im not defending him by no means but he was trying to get over you, and i do think that you loved him more thats why it hurts, he probably feared being alone and an opportunity came along so he jumped as fast as he could, you need to let go of this person and find someone new im sure that you will have them lining up good luck

Some people are able to move on more quickly than others...some use new relationships to help forget previous ones (rebound)...
It has nothing to do with how he felt about you, but more about how he feels about himself...perhaps he handles rejection by getting involved quickly with someone else, to prove to himself someone does find him desirable...

He was playing you. All the time he was with you, he was looking around for something better. The only thing you did was force him to go to plan B sooner than later.

why are you worried about how that jerk felt about you? just forget about him he was a waist of your time, and remember if a guy treats you bad, sometimes it has nothing to do with you, but everything to do with how they understand a womans worth! and sadly but true most men dont know a womans worth!
take care sweetie and take your time

If I was him I would have been hitting something as soon as the breakup happened. That's why you always have a "friend" to call.
