Both but personality is more important. Because if a guy is ok looking and has a good personality is better then a hot guy with a bad personality

Looks and personality are both important. You could have a really good looking man but the personality can be a flop, or you can have a guy with a great personality but not attractive. So I would have to say both and with my past the guy better have good teeth too becuase attractive men with bad teeth is such a turn off.

for me personality is more important and looks are just a bonus. but sometimes girls just look for hot guys and go from there. does that make sence? it depends on the girl but most like the personality.

Personality, who would want to be with a really good looking guy that you can't even stand to talk to? So yeah, personality ALL the way.
But... this saying...thing applies: "Dating is like an orange. It's what's on the inside that counts, but if the outside looks gross, you won't even pick up the orange."
So pretty much just make yourself look clean-cut and somewhat good, and personality will keep her!

Initially looks and dress sense.Personality not apparent at first meeting.I believe most important being able to make them laugh.You must be a good listener,considerate,honest and caring.Never allow her to pay for anything on a date.Learn the art of flirting and comment on how good she looks.Buy surprises for her little things.

It depends.
My own personal feeling is, at first glance they may be hot and all, but when you talk to them they have to be able to at least carry a conversation. Not all, duhhhh....derrrr..
Masculine looks( I don't mean like a body builder, a man who isn't afraid to get dirty, and grow a beard), and funny personality will always be attractive. Smell Good is always a plus.

personality is what matters most..of course looks go too to a certain extent..but a truly honest and sweet guy can sweep you of your sweet...not too sweet either because for some reason i personally lose interest when a guy is too sweet. but always be respectful to women and to everyone else too for that matter :)
