Probably what you are eating and drinking beforehand.
Or, more likely, what you are *not* eating and drinking.
Try varying your intake before you exercise. Try Gatorade and/or some powerbars.

It is totally worth it....or I wouldn't be doing it a second time. I suffered from Hypermesis Gravedarum - extreem morning (all day) sickness. The constant throwing up made the "normal" pains so much worse, I thought I would die. By the time I was about 12 weeks I had been in the hospital twice for dehydration, and was finally medicated. Yet, here I am 7 weeks and 4 days with my second, and again, sick as a dog. But there is such joy in me when I hold my daughter, and when she is silly, or crazy, even when she is a little demon. Loving her so much has mad me crazy to love another. Hang in there, that first snuggle, the first smile, it is worth all of the suffering. Give up a year to gain a lifetime.... Best of luck to you.

If you aren't eating before you exercise, that can cause your blood sugars to drop and result in the sick feeling. Since you didn't mention the time of day when you work out, try eating a piece of fruit before hand and having a bottle of water with you, while exercising (or Gatorade, to replenish the electrolytes you lose during exercise).

For every 20 minutes of any kind of workout ,you need to drink 8 ounces of water. You are possibly dehydrated, especially when doing legs. The water is necessary to get oxygen into your legs.I use to get the same problem until 6 years ago when a professional fitness trainer told me this about water.

This is a textbook case of over-exertion. Before I do any sort of weight training, I try to have some protein (peanut butter, beans, etc.) Try it out. I'm pretty sure that you'll feel better.

Probably because your blood sugar is too low, try having a banana before you start your exercise regimen it is not too heavy to cause discomfort and the sugar is released slowly into the system so it will stop the ligh headedness. My gym instructor suggested that to me a few years ago.

Do you drink alot of water when you work out? Sometimes that can make you dizzy, or feeling sick. Some people feel light headed afterward.

Its probably because you dont drink enough water when you work out. either that or your blood sugar is too high. eat some protien and drink some water or gatorade when you work out.

I used to be like that in school and my PE coach told me it's because I worked myself too hard. Don't over do it.
