refuseing to take vails off for a driver licence pic-------disrespect for women in general--------and by and large thinking we are trash in general--and really stuped-----but yet they have no problems useing government programs for there ,like food stamps----and welfair money NOT ALL BUT SUM

I don't think it is a question of assimilation. The reason the US is the greatest idea ever created is that it was founded on the principle that people have the right to follow their beliefs, without the government interfering in everything.
Or at least that was the idea. Now, my kids aren't allowed to say Merry Christmas at school, so who is assimilating to what?

Well, we would be speaking about religious assimilation which is unacceptable in this society. We cannot force Muslims, Jews. Christians, etc, to change their religious culture. It is hypocrital to the original foundation of the United States of America. We are living in a land of immigrants (I am almost certain that at least one line of your decendants came from another country.We should be proud that we are all able to express ourselves the way we choose. Not the way others find acceptable.
