Has anyone else had problems authorizing Peak 4 in Mac OS X 10.4.8?

Question

I get an error message that says I have to have an administrator authorize the software. However, this is my home computer and I checked in Get Info and in the Accounts system preferences and I am the administrator and I do have administrator Read and Write priviliges (sp). This occurred after I upgraded from Mac OS 10.3.9 where I used Peak 4 without problem.
