Explanations of God come out of a desire to understand ourselves. We personify ideas (like god and santa) to get a better grasp of them, to better understand them and ourselves, generally. It is also very comforting for people to think of God as a father figure that will cuddle and protect them in a metaphorical way.

because they want to think of God as some form, and they emmediatly think of a human. God is a person, and so much more. he is the trees and the wind and the sun, God is Everything and Everywhere! :)

God did come to this Earth in human form as Jesus. But he is everything. Not just a person. But in the Bible it does say we are created in God's image.

God "walked" with Adam in the Garden of Eden.
That is assumed to be bi-pedal locomotion.

maybe it is a way for people to relate. It is easier to refer to something that is unexplainable as a person an how extraordinary it is compared to regular humans than to create a whole other being or energy. maybe

Because our brains cannot fathom what God is. We tend to visualize things in relation to what we already know exists.

Cuz we were made in his image and we are people. He has emotions, a personality, and he is referred to as he and him.

No, God is not a human. However, we are mirrored in his image so perhaps we look something alike.

good question! hmmm there easily confused.Some Christians/They don't know the difference between God and Jesus. their different.Jesus is the Son of God
