Two weeks is not long enough for losing 22 pounds, it will take you longer than that.

Reduce your consumption of bread, pasta, rice and all other refined carbohydrates, including sweets and sugary snacks. Read the labels on your sauces, drinks and salad dressings, and for that matter on everything else, and aviod anything with added sugar in favor of versions without added sugar.

Be aware that sugar can be called furctose, glucose, corn syrup, corn syrup solids, High fructose corn syrup, dextrose, maltodextrin, brown rice syrup, molasses, fruit sugar and half a dozen other things. If you see any of those, try another brand. Natural food stores will have products without sugar.

If something claims to be sugar free, read the nutrition facts on the back. If it says it has calories, look down and see how many grams of carbohydrate it has, and how many of those are from sugars.

Be aware that if you divide the total calories INTO the calories from fat, you will get the REAL percentage of fat that the product has. The percentage listed on the label may not be accurate, because they allowed the label makers to start with the assumption that you are eating 2000 calories a day, and that skews the numbers. If you want to know how much fat it has in it regardless of whether you eat a cup or a quart, do the math yourself.

(Example: If it says one serving has 210 calories, and 70 calories from fat, that's really 70 divided by 210 = 33.3 percent fat, REGARDLESS of what the label claims. Don't be fooled by the way they cook the figures.)

Eat fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, and whole grains. Consider grinding your oatmeal yourself, for instance, or eating steel cut oats. Lots of salad, it's good for your intestines. If you are not a vegetarian, eat lean meat for protein. Make sure you get your vitamins.

Expect to have the jitters from sugar withdrawal for at least two weeks. I repeat, make sure you get your vitamins, this will reduce your cravings.

EXCERCISE! Three times a week half an hour to start, then work up to three times or more a week for an hour. Vary your routine so you don't get bored. If you are really heavy, swimming makes excercise easier.

Diet and excercise are the keys. One alone usually does not work. Neither will those stupid pills that claim you can lose weight while you sleep. It's all calories in/calories out, AND food quality, AND excercise.

Not 2 weeks, maybe 2 months if you are consistent about exercise. Drink lots of water. Cut out sugar--that helps a ton.
Get a little exercise video or work out with the people that come on TV in the am every day, and do this: Lay on the floor on your back. Lift legs straight up into the air with toes pointed and put your hands under your hiney, palms on the floor. Okay, now lift your toes straight into the air using only your lower abdominal muscles., so that your hiney comes off your hands. Do this over and over every day and your stomach will be in shape in no time.

First off, two weeks is an entirely unrealistic goal if you're trying to go from 149 to 127. If you lose the recommended two pounds a week, then it'll take you 11 weeks.

Second, spot reduction is a myth. The only way you'll be able to tone your belly is if you lose fat all over your body, and then do ab exercises to tone up.

Good luck, and please don't try anything drastic like fasting.

lol. You aren't asking much. you need to exercise the stomach for it to get smaller or more muscular...that meand crunches and cit ups and maybe some just holding in of the muscles every time you think of it and then let it go. this is unlimited everyday. Then eat a well balanced healthy diet consisting of frequent small healthy meals and snacks. Use smaller plate for meals to not overeat. have seconds of veggies, salads with non creamy dressing. No junk food. Fruit and veggies, raisins and nuts, carrots and ranch dressing, apples and carsmel dip, to satisfy cravings. No soda, not even diet, it is addicting. No fast food. Shop amartly and prepere foods to grab quickly so you won't eat junk. Good luck. Take multivitamin and mineral each day.

try this excercize ...
look over your left shoulder .. then your right... then your left again ...

shake your head like this anytime anyone asks you if you want seconds

just kidding ... good luck with your weight loss program.
make some extra excersize a part of normal daily life
- get up to change the TV channel, loose the remote
- park or get off the bus 2 blocks further from work
- use the lift to go up, and stairs to come down

to make special time to excersize, something will happen to give you an excuse to stop
so make excersize normal, not a aggresive time

If you want to work your core, buy one of those big stability balls. It will really hurt after the first few uses, but it will become your cheap workout at home and will allow your stomach to tighten up too! You can find exercies online to do with it. Good luck! (Also known as exercise balls..)

You can do it, but it would be very unhealthy to try and attain that weight in such a short time. There aren't any shortcuts when it comes to your health.

The "secret" to losing weight is simply good eating habits and exercise.

There's no such thing as target weight loss. Exercise and a good diet are the key.
