It's really important to think twice about acting. So many people seem to act on impulse, and the Bible is full of consequences for impulsive actions - David and Bathsheba, for example. It's important to slow down and think about where we are headed. It's important to slow down and think what the nature of God is like. The Bible is like a guide to learning what spiritual and emotional maturity is all about, besides showing how long the Israelites had to be prepared to help with the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Isaiah, Psalms, and Proverbs are especially amazing. When it comes to the New Testament, I think you can learn a great deal of respect for the degree of service and spirituality of Jesus Christ and the Apostles and those around them. Have a happy day.

That we are sinners, and we broke the relationship we were meant to have with God, by sinning. God was not satisfied with this, because he loved his creation, and wanted to have a relationship with them. We could not pay for our own sins, because it required a sinless person to do that. Those people don't exist, so God came into flesh, dwelt among the people, share the good news, and proved that he was who he said he was. He was put to death, even though innocent of any crime. There was no other way. He came back to life, days later, exactly like he predicted, and told people, that he would come back the same way he left. That if we believed him, and had faith, and repented, that our names would be written in the lambs book of life. There are so many promises there! Anyway, that is the biggest set of things I have learned.

For me SCRIPTURAL TYPOLOGY reveals so many hidden truths.
Scriptural typology is:
A biblical person, thing, action, or event that foreshadows new truths, new actions, or new events. In the Old Testament, Melchizedech and Jonah are types of Jesus Christ. A likeness must exist between the type and the archetype, but the latter is always greater. Both are independent of each other. God’s call for the return of the Israelites from Pharaoh’s bondage typifies the return of Jesus Christ from his flight into Egypt. In the New Testament the destruction of Jerusalem, foretold by Christ, was the antitype of the end of the world
Adam & Eve’s sin is repaired by the righteousness of the new Adam and Eve in Jesus and Mary. Adam and Eve caused the downfall of man, Jesus and Mary the redemption of man.
Genesis 3:15
Romans 5:12-21
Isaac carrying the wood is like Jesus carrying the Cross.
Genesis 22:6
Abraham sacrificing his son is like the Heavenly Father offering up his Son Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah.
Moses is like Jesus, a prophet, to liberate the people. Moses freed them from Pharaoh while Jesus frees us from the sin and death so we may enter Heaven.
Deut 18:15
In these pictures God the “I AM” and Jesus the “I AM” at the Transfiguration with Moses and Elijah.
John 8:58 and Exodus 3:14
The shedding of Abel’s blood is like the shedding of Christ’s blood.
Hebrews 12:24
Genesis 4:10
Also the bronze snake is like Jesus “raised up” to save the people.
Numbers 21:9 and John 3:14 and 6:40
The bread of the Passover is like the “Bread of Life” (Jesus) in the eucharist.
1 Cor 5:7 and Ex 12:5
The sacrificial lamb of the Passover is like the “Lamb of God” that John the Baptist talked about when he saw Jesus.
The manna (Bread of the angel’s) is like the Eucharistic bread Jesus Christ gives us to nourish and purify our souls.
John 6:32-35
There are numerous scriptural references and documented miracles in dozens of books to validate the faith in the Blessed Sacrament.
Exodus 16:4, 15
Joseph (of the OT) being sold by his brothers for silver is like Judas betraying Jesus for Silver.
Jonah’s release from the mouth of the whale after 3 days is like Jesus resurrection from the jaws of death after 3 days in the tomb.
Matthew 12:40
Also, Mary the Mother of God is a scriptural type of the Ark of the Covenant.
I hope people look into this and discover the awesome truths of the Christian faith.
