If the two of you are truely "best friends" and he has fatasizes of you and you enjoy that he does then I can only see one course of action; explore the possibility that you two should see one another.
I know your thinking that you don't want to ruin a good friendship; However isn't the perfect mate supposed to be your best friend too.
You already know how well the two of you get along and from what you say there must be some attraction there as well.
Don't you think that makes for a great match?

It's only sick that you think it's sick. Your a live human being with natural feelings. It's cool to like to hear about someone fantasing about you...that's the ultimate compliment. The fact that he has a girlfriend doesn't render him neuter or null and void. He's still alive and has needs too.

No. It's not sick. He can't help what he likes and neither can you. But if you two want to explore your feelings w/one another, tell him to break up w/his gf first cuz she'll only be hurt in the end.

i dont know about it being sick, its either you like the attention from the opposite sex or that you like him and wont admit it. It is wrong of him to be telling you this while he is in another relationship, he should leave her and be with you...lol
