Do any Mock = Pink Elephants? Do any Mock = Three Dollar Bills? Do any Mock = The Zandues?
Why then DO SO MANY MOCK the Bible = IF Its Not Real?

It is easy to do when they won't take the time to read it or understand that hundreds upon hundreds of prophecies have been fulfilled.
The Bible is Real, but those in opposition usually have an agenda.
The really important part is that the Bible was inspired by God. Although written down by humans the wisdom was actually not theirs.
Why would someone with half a brain mock something that showed that the earth was a sphere and "hanging upon nothing" when everyone was saying that the earth was flat? And this, thousands of years before space travel or telescopes.
Now that I have written that and reread your question I think it just might be a Agnostic thing or a "higher learning" phobia.

If you were claiming pink elephants to be real, or declairing that we should live our lives according to Harry Potter you would be finding mocking for that as well. Mocking of the bible does not undicate that it is not a work of fiction. It only indicates resistance to those who think it is a blueprint for the government of the world.

I have never mocked a book before. Not sure that I have ever seen someone else do it either. I have, however, mocked a person... mainly for being a hypocrite.
And there are such things as $3 bills. They have Bill Clinton's face on em *wink*

The majority of those who mock it are those former Christians who are confused by many contradictions in the Bible as well as incomprehensibility of many doctrines of Christianity.
For example: Christians themselves cannot tell you clearly how THREE CAN BE ONE. They will try to explain you it by an example of an egg, apple or water. But it makes it even more confusing.
In other words, MOCKERY is a natural reaction to INCONSISTENCIES and CONTRADICTIONS in the Bible and Christians religious doctrines.

Joe Cool is right. People mock what they're afraid of. Face it, if they didn't believe it, why would they come to the religion/spirituality section for the sole purpose of mocking religion? A true atheist wouldn't bother spending time here, they'd be in forums that interested them. The ones we get here are just full of fear.

People know the Word of God is real and choose not to believe in the Savior of the World , The biggest problem with man is his sin condition and the bible deals with sin , Call a man a thieve a liar an adulterer and he can readily admits to it but call a man a Sinner and Whooooa do they take offence

people moke at things they dont understand, or r afraid of. athist fight the word of god, because they are afraid of it, that it might be true. and the bible is true. for example the book of daniel, written in the bible, was found by a bedwin shepard, in a cave in the middle east just a few yrs back that was over a thousand yrs old with every i dotted an every word exally as the bible had prophsied had been perdicted. it dont make sence to fight somethink u dont believe in. but as for me ill will serve the lord. god bless

The Bible said that the unrighteous would hate the righteous. Plus if you read the Bible Jesus was mocked by unbelievers. So it is a known fact in the Bible that the righteous make fun of the unrighteous.

Uhm because there aren't millions of people who believe in pink elephants billions of dollars spent building cathedrals of worship to pink elephants , and believers in pink elephants don't try and make me believe in pink elephants and threaten me with a horrible death if I choose not to, and people who believe in pink elephants don't get elected president or appointed as Mullahs and have access to WMD and aren't afraid to use them if they think it is the pink elephanst will.
