I got penalty points - 3 - (dont know if thats the same)
I was learning to drive on a dual carriageway and my partner had told me if you came to traffic lights and they changed and you couldnt stop to carry on - well this road was a 40mph limit and had a traffic camera on - I went through it and got flashed - It had aparently been on red for 1.3 seconds (which at 40 mph is a long time) and I was doing 42mph in a 40 zone - so ended up with 3 points and a fine - AND I WAS A LEARNER!!!!!!

I had my tubes tied due to medical problems and married after that, my marriage was not going so good and my period was about 3 1/2 months late. I am speeding 45 in a 20 my son on the back seat (No seat belts required) stone age times I know, I get pulled over and my son is asking (are they going to put you in jail) they ask what is your hurry and I tell them I am on my way to the hospital. (that is where the clinic was) and he looks at me and ask are you going to the ER. I looked at him and had to admit I was late for a pregnancy test. He had a laugh and then wrote my ticket. I only got two my whole life and I am in my 50's the other I hit (rear ended ) a drivers ed car. not as funny

i once got a ticket after work, backing out of a parking space. The ticket was for reckless driving..........i swear that was the dumbest thing ever. It was a friend of mine's car who stayed in trouble with the law. I guess that why i got the ticket, tried to fight it in court. After 3 canceled or rescheduled court dates the ticket was dropped and i didn't have to pay.

Yes, but what exactly do you mean by crazy situation?
I have had one I took to court and got PBJ, but I am not sure the circumstances there would qualify as crazy.
I did unintentionally run from a cop once though. He never did catch me, and it was really quite comical. IM or email me if you want the story.

I got pulled over for going too slow on a gravel road once. I thought that was pretty crazy. I didn't get a ticket though since it was obviously an idiotic reason to pull me over.

I'd spent the day tubing & fishing in Wyoming and was driving home in the desert going about 85 miles an hour in the middle of nowhere, and this policeman out of nowhere pulls me over. I rolled down my window and walked up to my car to speak to me. I was dressed in only my bikini--he took one look and let me go!
