The only sensible and safe way to lose weight: either exercise more, or eat less. Anything else will risk your health, and probably be counterproductiive.

Since you "don't have time" to exercise more, the only answer is to eat less. But not fast or starve yourself--again, that is dangerous and counterproductive. Find a sane and reasonable diet, and stick to it for at least 6 days out of 7. (You can vary the diet one day a week to a small treat. )

You might try some exercises at home that DON'T require heavy gym workouts. The best light exercise that can help lose weight is simply by walking several miles a day; if you can jog, that's OK, if you are in shape to do it. Bicycling is fine, (either a regular bike, or also a stationary bike; a treadmill achieves the same cardiovascular workout as walking. And you can watch tv while you are doing it !

Remember to do some limbering exercises before beginning any regimen of exercise; it warms you up, stretches muscles to prevent tearing and straining, and starts the exercise slowly.

Take it easy, and treat your self with respect.Do as much as you can do; but don't overdo.

If you are already an adult, be sure to get a checkup before beginning heavy exercises or dieting The doc can give you some good advice on diets for your age, build and occupation.

Good luck,

John B.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

You don't have to hit the gym, just break up exercises through out the day, while I am doing dishes, I do waist exercises, when I use the vaccum, I do leg exercises, get in any sort of stretches that you can while you are doing other things, it helps.
Dr's claim that if you are sitting at the computer at work, you have got to get up and move or do exercises at the computer, believe me, any little bit helps.
Good Luck , also I recently started eating a bread that I get at the health food store, called EZEKIEL,it contains no flour, you have to keep it in the freezer, bread was my big problem, which added to my waistline.

Modify your diet, AND do a cleanse.

The following was reported in January 11, 1999 issue of USA Today: "Most people who eat the standard American 'goo and glue' diet have about 5-10 pounds of matter stored in the colon. It's said that, according to the autopsy, John Wayne had 40 pounds of impacted fecal matter in his body at death. Elvis reportedly had 60 pounds."

absolutely. Don't waste your time or money with drugs. Go on a raw foods diet. I've lost 10pounds in three weeks and i'm 35 yo.
The change in eating habits is hard for the first couple of days, but it gets easier after.

hi !

it is but it is much more time consuming to lose the weight.
you will not achieve the tone and tightness (flat tum and good lines) without the work out though.

eat smaller meals of pure foods (nothing added to them) veg, fruit and meat, meat the size of your palm, half a tuna sandwich with light mayo, brown and whole grains only for bread, plenty of water, etc.

no eating after 7pm, try for six small meals.

good luck, i have to get on this stuff myself.

You will lose weight when you diet but if you do not exercise you will lose muscle and it will not look as go. No exercise means loose twice as much to achieve the look
