How mad is Hell? Return his call or message now. Tell him you needed the time to reflex on what he had done by leaving you in the dark for so long. Say, "What did I do that was so bad that you thought I needed to be snubbed for so long?" If he has any common sense about him he will see(that is if you did nothing) that what he did was wrong.
There may have been a major situation in his family and it was so major that he didn't think about you at the time. Your relationship is new enough that he didn't turn to you. If you had been long time friends who had a relationship that had developed into a deep abiding love then he would have thought to share this with you.

Well I think you are dating my ex boyfriend. He did the same thing then when I got mad, he turned it all around. He told me he was going fishing and would see me the next day. 4 days later he knows I am pissed and blows up at me and sends me 2 nasty messages about how I was the one that messed up. I didnt talk to him for a month or so he called out of the blue and wanted to just pick back up, I was going to try but realized I deserved better....and yes I think you have the right to be pissed. That is just rude to not give you enough respect to let you know where he is at or what he is doing.

Nah. You're just upset. just tell him how upset you are that he is disappearing like that and make a point that next time you will not tolerate it.
By not answering to his emails or calls, you are already "disappeared" to him so now he knows what it feels.
Have you asked him why he disappeared? If you think his answers are phony, then It's time to get a new one before New Year's party!

You have a right to be mad. If my boyfriend disappeared for four days that would be it. It would be over cause it they cant take the time to call you and say that they are going to be leaving or anything like that than you shouldnt even worry about him and just move on cause he isnt worth your time...

the best way is to talk to him amd see if in those days he had some things to do which he didnt want you to be involved in. people tend to hide certain things from their friends.and due to that they dissapear for a while. of course its not right but it happens :( so, talk first see if he has an honest excuse and if he doesnt then explain to him that you can not deal with these in a relationship and stop replying to him then.

Perhaps I'm missing something with your use of technology but if you don't reply to his messages or calls, then FROM HIS POINT OF VIEW, doesn't it appear that you have disappeared on him???

ummm how long have you been together for? do you talk every day normally? if you have been together for a while and you talk everyday then yes be mad but figure out what the hell happened to him, maybe something big happened????
if you have just started talking to the guy then i wouldn't worry about the situation too badly. maybe he just needs his space or was trying to give you yours.

well i can see why you would be upset, it depends on the reason he dissappeared... if it was just because he was a little scared of being close to someone then i think you should make it an issue to let him know that you wont put up with that kind of immature behavior
