I believe that my she's trying to break up with me. She said that I make her feel "uncomfortable". I don't see how I do so because i treat her right and I'm not cheating on her or doing anything behind her back. I'm not really sure what's going on; perhaps she needs space... idk. I'm very confused. My gf is insecure and she has no self-esteem whatsoever. I call her nicknames such as "bonita" and "cupcake", but she told me to stop calling her those names because it makes her feel uncomfortable. Anyone have any advice for me as to what I should do or how should I handle this? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Uh-oh. Sounds like you're invading her personal bubble.

Or something like that...

The nicknames are a big problem. It would help me if I knew how long you guys have been going out, but no matter what, it sounds like you're being overly affectionate. I guess you could say she cares about you, but she doesn't like the mushy BF/GF stuff. Do you do anything like... use overly affectionate nicknames a lot? Sneak up behind her, and cover her eyes, and say, "Guess who?". Anything that could be viewed as overly mushy?

Now, don't get me wrong, some girls really like that. But it doesn't sound like your girlfriend is one of them. Probably give her a little more space, STOP using nicknames, period... Just generally act more like a good friend than a boyfriend. If your girlfriend really is insecure, and it's not just your perception of it, then it could be that you are trying to make her feel better about herself in ways that are making her uncomfortable. It could be she's not used to having a boyfriend (if you haven't gone out long) and doesn't like the mushy-ness, whatever. Just give her more space, and you'll be good.

Ask her what she means by uncomfortable.

What makes you think she has no self-esteem? Do you have a low concept of her and it shows in your body language? Maybe she considers the nicknames to be put-downs just by the WAY you say them.

Give her a little extra space. Call her by her given name in a nice sincere way. If she doesn't like your terms of endearment, ask her what she thinks sounds good.

Have a talk to clear the air. If she does have low self esteem, she might not understand your intentions clearly.

Good Luck,

C-F

It's something she has to deal with. It may be that she's just not interested anymore. It makes her uncomfortable because she doesn't know how to tell you. You should talk to her and find out what's going on. If she is trying to break up with you it is best to let her go because trying to convince her to stay is only going to make her upset.

My overwhelm has a girl buddy so that is totally annoying whilst he teases. a million.)Is Your BF/GF/overwhelm a TEASE?? definite. 2.) Do they be attentive to they seem to be a tease? No, because of the fact he would not advise to do it. 3.) Is it a sturdy or undesirable element? i like it whilst he teases, yet then his lady buddy comes and that i'm getting somewhat jealous and choose we weren't as close. 4.) What could you think approximately severe teasing that they have got carried out (short info...i do no longer desire all of it in technicolor thank you.) Lol. =] It would not get too undesirable somewhat because of the fact he would not notice he does it. the main he's ever carried out is say I had alluring eyes and calls me especially and in good shape each and all the time. [as quickly as we are on my own] Oh and he bit my shoulder some circumstances [Lol, random]. idk why. And as quickly as, i could dyed my hair black and he became stroking it and asserting it became lifeless advantageous and soft and then he positioned it in his mouth and pronounced that I tasted sturdy. =] 5.) Do you ever tease returned?? No, because of the fact i do no longer desire to get in the way of him and his gf, yet certainly one of those days i'm basically gonna provide up and kiss him. yet I basically have not got the middle to try this yet.

Sounds like to me that she doesn't appreciate what she has. Women would die to have a man like you. If she keeps acting that way, give her her walking papers because she acting plain stupid. Don't waste your time. Give her 2 choices: either act right, be a women and tell you what's wrong so you all can straighten this dilemma out, or hit the highway.

If she is no longer comfortable with you, then it's better for the both of you if you stop seeing each other. It's not the end of the world if you two break-up. Beside, then you can start looking for someone who loves being with you all the time!

The first thing in a relationship is communication. When she tells you she feels uncomfortable about something in particular (like the names) then just don't do it. Ask her to be open with you about everything she is uncomfortable with.

The first step is talking to her.
You should just ask her what's bothering her. If she says nothing, that doesn't always mean there's nothing wrong. The only thing you really can do is talk to her and try to figure out what's going on.

Instead of telling us your fellings you should tell it to your girl friend. If she breaks up with you then find you another girl you sound like a very sweet guy and if she does'nt want you someone does.
