My ex and i broke up 5 months ago bcuz we never saw each other and i was too quiet. i'm really not a quiet person but i was insecure then. I am not now. My ex and i hav started to talk a lot and hav fun talking and teasing again. But he started going out w/ my friend who is very awkward. i heard him saying to my friend that 'yeahh my gf's really quiet' and made a sad face. i hav a lot friends, pretty, athletic, smart and now finally CONFIDENT in myself..i like this guy again and know if i show him my confident side it would make him think...what should i do??

You may want to think of your friend's feelings first. If they break up through natural causes, then totally go for it!!!!

Court,
never be afraid to shine, to show who you are.
things will be just fine.
Like you rightly pointed out you're smart, funny, pretty athletic and finally CONFIDENT.
I think your friend kinda knows she's the square peg in the round hole and soon she'll filter out of the situation becausr she'll realise he still loves you
Just be the best you can be and things will be fine

well dont be a homewrecker. you had your chance and you lost it but you might get a second chance. if they break up then theres no hurt in going and showing him your new confident self. You sound like what every guy wants... i think. im not a guy tho so i wouldnt know lol.

He's with someone else, AND that person is a friend of yours. Leave it be. If they break up (w/o your intervention) then you may choose to try to reconnect with him. Until then, he's not available and you should not attempt to sway him your way. I'm sure you wouldn't want someone to do that to you, if you were dating him.

Use your newfound confidence to find someone new, someone who will draw you out if your quiet, and wont hurt you or your friend>

He's no good for you. It sounds like NOT being with him has bought out your confident side while being with him did not!

I think you should go live out your life alone in a shack in the mountains. You'll be happier.

Look, it's been five months. Move on. Things did not work out, get over it.

You are not confident in yourself. If you were, you wouldn't be trying to steal your friend's boyfriend.
