In Mass they put the $$ amount right on the citation. I was wondering what it was in NY for just a seatbelt ticket.

With all do respect sir, there are at least three ways to find this information out with the first two taking the least amount of time. 1) you can ask a New York State cop (officer) (believe it or not we cops and that would include me, are very much approachable to ask a question as long is you approach in the right situation i.e. patrol, on a break). 2) you can call the New York State Police headquarters, they will give you that info over the phone. And 3) the most time consuming, since every law, ordinance is public record, you can find that info out at the public library.
