Please read the question before you try to enlighten me into your religious views. If you do not know then move on, why waist my time with Dogma? Also I know that this is not a Debate forum Mr hi IQ did you even read my question. ?

I guess that is what this is all about. Pray for holy spirit to help you see the truth when it is presented. Do you really think that a debate is going to settle things once and for all? The seeds of truth can be planted, but only God can water it and make it grow.

The WORD of God GIVES this example! A debate would do NOTHING! There have been Debates for CENTURIES!
(Luke 16:27-to-31) Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
(Luk 16:28) For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
(Luk 16:29) Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
(Luk 16:30) And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
(Luk 16:31) And he said unto him,= = If they hear not Moses = = and the prophets, = = neither will they be persuaded,= = though one rose from the dead.
Thanks, RR

Being a christian, I see jesus in a logical and in a non-religious way. I also like many good things from other religions.
He was one of those persons, who saw many unacceptable acts, and punishments and sins that were carried in the name of God during his time, and want to bring a change, where people should be given a second chance (forgiven their sins). As a human being (like gandhi, or budda), he understood that human beings are prone to mistakes (To err is human). Only realizing oneself and understanding that you're hurting others will make a person a true human being. Gandhi once said "An eye for an eye , will only make the whole human race blind" . Jesus said "Who ever has not committed any sin, throw the first stone on the prostitute). Budda also preached tolerance.
Every religion asks for tolerance and forgiveness for others. Some people in some religious take thingds very literally and do wrong things in the name of religion. No religion accepts any form or lieing, killing or any of that stuff.
Jesus, or buddha or mohammed did not create any religion. Their followers did. We dont' respect good peole and their principles when they're alive. But we always put them on pedestal and make them kings and gods when they're gone. People thought Socrates was crazy when he was alive. Now that we all die to be like him.
All religion is formed by human beings who were proclaimed as prophets or divine messengers with different beliefs to form better ways of mentoring ourselves. Mostly it was meant to morally mentor us.
But like everything almost every religion and religious leaders and community has corruptions. That does not mean the forefathers who tried to create them were not good people.
Religion has become a business, and political aspect in many countries and now lost its true value.
As long as you believe in something as want to to good to others and respectful and responsible, that's all matters.
Some people always worry about heaven or hell. If you take care of your responsibilities on this earth to the best of your ability, you can always justify your actions anytime (whether in life or death, or after death).
I don't understand why people worry so much about other lives, when they don't live their current life in a better way.
Anyone who fights in the name of religion is just plain ignorant. You know what they say "You can love your own mother , without insulting someone elses". Is that not possible?
You can be christian, or any religion and believe all you want and claim to be religious, and if you're a prick in real life, you've no hope. Jesus, or allah, or budda - no one can save one from his ill deeds. What goes around, will come around in our life.
Gandhi also once said "I like christianity, but I hate christians". It's because most of us christians dont' follow the good things taught by jesus. But that is pretty much true for all religions. We just ignore the good , and moral values of religion and only fight about it for shallow reaons.

chief...that's the point...people will never agree. I think the closest agreement you'll get is that Jews, Christians, and Muslims will at least agree that he was a teacher. But after that point, religious beliefs kick in and the point of consensus is lost.

You want something settled that has been debated for centuries....you don't want much do you?
You should believe whatever you believe and let it go....there are too many other things in life to think about.

how about a Bible? and read it and pray that the holy ghost will show you who he is. what i say or others say does not matter it may only open your eyes better. for instance to me Jesus is God manifested in flesh. for someone else he is the son of God, to others he did not exist and to others he was just a man that had no sin.
