everyone thinks i like this guy!!!! what can i do to prove them that i dont?

Well, chances are, if you start avoiding him or being especially mean to him, it will only urge the rumor on. The best thing to do in a situation like that is nothing. Although, that's not what I would do.
I would develop a huge crush on another guy. It's best if he doesn't go to your school, and even better if he doesn't really exist. Go back to school, and say something along the lines of, "Oh, my GOD!!! I saw this guy at [wherever] yesterday... he was SO CUTE!!! He had, like, blonde, shaggy hair, and bright green eyes... I talked to him for awhile, and he was totally flirting with me. I gave him my number, and he said that we should grab a bite to eat sometime..."
Obviously, that was a rough sketch of something you could say. I would choose to fall in love with a celebrity, so you don't have to make up stuff about talking to him. Because if you say you gave him your number, you'll have to continue with the lie, and eventually end up with an imaginary boyfriend. But whatever, it's your call. But I've found that falling hopelessly in love with someone else to be a good diversion from the rumor.

1) dont flirt with him
2)start saying so and so likes so and so
3)say... OH YeA.. I LIKE HIM.. HES SO HOT HES HOTTER THAN (hot guy of your choice)
4)tell people you think hes a cool guy and all but hes just not the type of guy you like
5)nothing... if ppl say you like him and you say "NO I DONt" your just leading them on to the fact that you do but dont wanna admit it.. eventually this will die down if you just choose to ignore the whole situation
6)start talking about some other hot guy you "saw"
7)ask some guy out.. that you might actually consider "boyfriend worthy"

I agree with sephoroth. There's nothing you can do about it. People are going to think what they want. And if they already have an opinion, ANYTHING you do will seem to prove their opinion to them.

Oh geez...I have no clue. Definitely do not be a ***** to "this guy" its not his fault people think you like him. The only thing I got is tell them somebody you really like? But I have no clue...deny it?

Just don't hang around him and keep telling people you don't like him. Just one day flip out on everybody and say "I DON'T LIKE HIM STOP BOTHERING ME"
