this happened to me some years ago. I've got very curly hair but I wanted a complete change and went for a sstronger dye with more bleach in it. The hair literally died, it was killed according to a hairdresser friend. The chemicals just took everything out of it and left behind just shafts that were no more than weakened and damaged shells. So it was too weak for the curl, it just became a parched frizz. It took about a year to recover and I never did it again.

Wait for a while and wash with dish washing detergent a few times. That will strip more color out. If you still want more highlights go to a salon and do professionally because the bleach that was used for your highlights was strong and the hair strands are weak. If done improperly, you can have hair break-off and damage. Especially if your hair is long. Good luck!

the chemicals in hair dye damage hair.... that is why when u get a perm, they caution u not to dye ur hair at the same time, because it is damaging....
perhaps if u try to allow ur natural hair to grow out, it will become curly again?

There is a phone number on the back of the box for advice on any problems with the product. Give them a ring and tell them what happened.
