I recieved a pre-paid debit card from national city for christmas and I'd like to but something on the internet, can you use these cards online

Of course, what you received was basically a prepaid credit card. You have to activate it first, but once you do that, you can use it anywhere that type of credit card is accepted.

I'm assuming it's a VISA or Mastercard. Those are accepted everywhere.

The card basically acts like a credit card, meaning you can use the card in place of cash to buy things. The difference is that it's already paid for and has a set limit. So you don't need to pay it back, but you can only spend what is pre-paid for the card.

Be careful! Some of these prepaid debit cards charge quite a lot of money when you load them up. IF you have a Simon Mall near you they have a great card that they charge only $1.50 to load, whether it's $25 or $2500. It's good anywhere that Visa is accepted.

Yes, i'm pretty sure those are the same as a regular debit card, only the money is already on and already paid (obviously), so Im sure you can use it online. Just think of it as a giftcard you can use anywhere.

Yes these cards can be used online as long as it has been activated.
