I was but I sure hope to stick to Christianity this time:

This is how my story goes.
As a child I was raised catholic but I deviated and had no clue once i moved into another town and became a hobby-drug user. After bad times fell, i went back into mass.
After that met some Protestant friends, than got into that.
Then after having been dissatisfied i turned to judaism. I had a meeting with a rabbi but that didn't go too far. I read many things about judaism, I also spent a great deal learning about Kabbalah, and I still dont know nadda. then i also began to have an interest in Buddhism, Yoga teachings, philosophy, Gnosticism, New Age, astrology, and more. never tried Islam for some reason but i want to learn their language. I think its safe to say am looking for my own code for life. But I really want to stick to Christianity but in a liberal kinda way cause i feel safer with it.
Any religious hoppers out there, or are you getting a feel for any religion?

I guess you could say I was something like that, if you're referring to the studying and seeking phase. I settled finally on Buddhism because it makes perfect logical sense to me, but you have to work with what works and makes sense for you. No point in entering a faith group and be confused.

I was born Catholic, then went to Wiccan, Episcopalian, Presbyterian, Born Again, Atheism, nationalism, and some mix and match of other religion. I never understood about love and then going to war and killing even your own spiritual brothers. Then someone came and helped with the Bible and I believe I have found true Christianity.

Testify, sister! Yes, been there, done that. Mainstream Protestantism, culty/fundie Protestantism, Noahide, Deism, studied Judaism and a little Islam, etc. I finally found peace in Catholicism about eight years ago and never looked back.

I belive in God if you think about it there is no other answer to explain why we are here. But as a christian, One must admit its far easier to live as a sinner. But then I dont wish or want to go to hell having said that most of the world is already in hell.

Its good to belive in God. Which can only better your life but has for me, you best study the Bible in complete detail. And live your life by it. It aint easy but judgement day could be tomorrow.

Ps: "Fancy pants" your answers are very very good.

God bless all of us Amen.

Be a Christian. Do you believe the Bible or some other book? If the Bible, then be a New Testament Christian. In other words, abide by principles of the New Testament given by Christ. Follow all or none of it. If there is a Church of Christ in your area, wouldn't hurt to go, would it? :)

I did the same thing growing up, I even tried Islam. And you can keep looking but you'll never be satisfied because only Jesus can satisfy that need in your heart.

People who jump from one religion to another are playing a game we rational thinkers (Atheists) like to call "Manure pile leap frog" with the manure pile being where you land.
