So many people refuse the term God. But they Know they exist with an unknown cause. Maybe calling God CAUSE will make them understand better because most of them knows that there is a cause to everything.

You are hinting at what is called the FIRST CAUSE argument.

It is based upon the scientific principle, nothing happens without a cause. If you trace backwards, you eventually have to get to the something that was the FIRST CAUSE.

Simple example: The wind blows on the tree, causing the apple to fall. But what caused the wind? The sun warms the atmosphere, causing the wind to blow. But what caused the sun to make heat? Hydrogen combines into helium causing heat. But what caused the hydrogen to combine? And so on.

This same argument showed up in the Middle Ages but was stated as an argument about motion. Was G-d the Self Moved Mover or the Prime Mover Unmoved? The issue under discussion that time was Motion....nothing moves without something moving it. Whatever caused the first motion was G-d.

Until someone can explain what caused the first motion or action, you may as well say it was G-d....

sure, why not?
if you don't assign attributes such as caring and benevolence to it, it would be better to call it cause.
