I'm in the market for a new TV. I could really use some other opinions about which ones give the most bang for my buck. I'm looking to spend no more than 1800.00 and less if I can. All opinions would be appreciated. So far I'm torn on the Mitsubishi and the Panasonic lcx. If you know of other ones please share with me.

Mitsubishi is by far better.

but I'd say go with a projection set. Much better for a home theater.

My brother sells TV's and he recommended what I just bought about a week ago. A 56" HDTV DLP Toshiba (56HM66 is the model). It is $1800 at Best Buy. I absolutely love it. It is great!! The color is fantastic, the picture is incredible...clear as a bell. It has built in surround sound and channels that broadcast in HDTV automatically play in HDTV. It's also set up for widescreen TV as well. He told me that DLP is the best picture, and it is really, really clear and bright. It's amazing.

That's what I would suggest. Good luck!

Happy New Year!
