There is just to big of a differnce for me to see it working. He is going to be worried about things like car payments, the electric bill, and job promotions while she is primarily concerned with Jr High. Its just a different ball game. I'm not saying she is immature at all, but to be honest, she shouldn't be thinking about the same things he is. A 14 year old girl SHOULD be worried about hair products, homework, and fingernail polish (or whatever, you get the idea...) A 20 year old guy should be working on advancing his life and finding a career, a home, and a future.
[The girl] and guy should not expect anything. In 4 years if they still know and like each other, then maybe. She should enjoy her youth. You...er...she will never get it back.

Take it from me, 14 is too young, even if she is mature. A six-year age gap is nothing later in life, but at 14 it's a HUGE gap. Also, the consequences the 20-year-old guy could face if he chooses to become involved with this 14 year old include statuatory rape. Believe me when I say this. It is a felony and not to be taken lightly. This relationship could lead to an illegal situation and a big heart break for the girl. I hope she thinks about it before getting in too deep.

The 20 year old guy is nothing but a pervert to be feeling something for a 14 year old child no matter how mature she is.

Absolutely not! This qualifies as statutory rape in most places, for which "he" would be sent to prison and forced to register as a sex offender. I'm sure he must seem like he has a lot of offer and is probably very nice for now, but the answer is no. In a few years "she" will clearly see that there is some good reason why "he" can't find a nice girl his own age.
Find a nice boy your own age. No good can come from this 20 year old...

that not a bad age gap but they are both so young i think they are going to change a whole lot in the years to come, but he is probably going to be ready for many things that she is not, so be careful about that maybe it would work, kind of like highschool sweethearts! but there is a difference in having a 6 year age gap when your in your twenties as a girl than having it when your 14, shes is still a baby i dont think you should allow it because no 14 year old is mature enough to be dating already...

She might think she's mature but she's not. It would be a big mistake. Catch up in 5 years time and see if the 'something' is still there.

Ummm...no.
That's 6 years age difference...
& there is a HUGE difference between a 14 & a 20 year old.
She's a freshman in high school...
He's almost the legal drinking age...
That is too much of a difference.
[even if she is ''mature''.]

sure it will work --- just dont do anything until she is at least 20 --- if you still feel the same way then it will be a very strong relationship --- and i mean do NOTHING dont see each other dont talk to each other --- there are too many dangers for both

no way... that's why they have laws, because 14 year old girls are not mature enough to handle a real relationship and make them kind of decisions on their own... the 20 year old is also known as a child molester... she needs to stay away from him :) :) :)
