Cute question-----well if it is the spoken language, Canada has two official languages: English and French. The majority of Canadians speak english, where as the predominate langauage in Quebec is french, but however many are bilingual in Quebec (french and/or english). In other parts of Canada, there are "french speaking" communities, but english is the working language. If you speak english or french, you will be served in government in either spoken or writen languages.

Now if you are talking "other languages" none english or french, you will soon notice here that many world languages are spoken--like in Toronto and other major cities in Canada--we are a very divers peoples of languages and culture. Think of it this way, if you were in the south western states the two dominate languages there would be english and spanish---here its mostly english all across Canada generally, and mostly french i Quebec.

Now as for body and other sort of "languages" LOL its all the same--wink, wink; smile, smile; laugh, laugh;--just go to any Canadian site and learn sister---we don't bite up here---just our guard beavers, but if you feed them apples they seem to calm down eh!

Well, it looks like you already speak English. You'll be fine then in most regions of Canada then except Quebec and parts of New Brunswick. There's a few towns scattered about the rest of Canada where mainly French is spoken, but aside from those areas you'll be fine using English.

In The Northwest Territories there are more than 20 different languages spoken. The NWT legislature has 7 (or is it 11?) official languages. Nearly everyone in Canada speaks English, but in Quebec, they pretend they don't understand ... "Parlez vous Francais?"

Yes, you have to learn our language. English.

By the looks of it, you are still trying to learn it. :p

You could try to learn French too, but it isn't used as widely as English. It depends on where in Canada you are headed. Even Quebec speaks English.

Are you being funny or are you really serious? I'll take it that you are just naive and say,if you're reading this , you already know the language. There are Francophones ( French speaking people) but, most (if not all) are bi-lingual. Do yourself a BIG favor, don't act American.Educate yourself then, leave the general American attitude at the border.

BTW,there is a European/American flavor to Canada that stands out,it is unique.Immerse yourself in it,ENJOY IT !

Oh yes of course, our language is a mix of Native American, Eskimo, French and English....oh and lets not forget Newfoundlander. It's a very very hard language to learn and it takes years and years to learn. You are better off staying in the U.S. where you don't have to use your brain.

What language do you speak? Contrary to popular belief, we don't speak Eskimo, we speak English and when in the Province of Quebec French and English are spoken.

Hope you all come up and visit us some time soon.
