sorry cannot read question or send answer as crackling noise on computer

try resetting your box! switch off everything, sky box, telly, and anything else running through it at the plug socket. leave off for at least 30 secs, then switch the telly back on then the skybox, turn the skybox on via the remote when it has reloaded it should go to channel 999(customer service channel or summat) then go to the channels you want to watch! if it continues it may be a dish problem in which case you should call sky customer services and will sort it out

Sky won't want to lose your custom. Phone them and say that you are fed up with it not working and are going to cancel your service.
I reckon they will put it right PDQ

reboot and if it does not work call Sky tomorrow morning at 08.00 and get a tech out ASAP, you aint supposed to worry about this stuff when you pay min. 30 quid a month.... get on the blower to them!

phone sky and tell them you are going to cancel because the reception is rubbish, they will soon come round and fix it for you.
