They don't throw UP, they throw DOWN. It is quite simple they just bend their neck down and let it roll out onto the turf. It usually only takes one motion unless some chunks get stuck and then you will hear a gurrguling sound followed by a pute or so and then a big Giraffe smile.

approximately ten to 12 ft. unquestionably, it may rely on the violence of the chunder. an somewhat projectile vomit would desire to take below a 2nd to shuttle up from the tummy and start up spewing forth, whilst an insignificant upchuck would desire to take somewhat a whilst to make its way up, especially if the giraffe is desperately attempting to not think of of tequila and desires to maintain it down. when you consider that giraffes are ruminants, they do bite their cud. this is somewhat revolting to observe the bolus of cud slowly sliding upwards to their mouth to be worked over. it oftentimes takes quite a few seconds, and looks form of like the rat swallowed by using a python, purely in opposite.

I have heard that projectile vomit travels at 50mph, so I'm sure we could do the sums. How far from a giraffe's stomach to it's mouth?

Can we have to ignore gravity, anyone?

Neck to a hour.

We timed two GIRAFFES,
