First buy gel. I reccomend the stuff by Garnier Fructis (I believe it's called "hard curl" or something like that...). After taking a shower put the gel in your hands and start gathering sections of your hair from the bottom, up. "Scrunch" together the section of hair in your hand, evenly applying the gel.

Once you do your whole head get a hair-tie and put more gel in your hands. Twist all of your hair into a bun at the top of your head. Let it sit there for a while while your hair dries. For school, I leave the bun in my hair the whole night before for the best effects, but you can even leave it in for 15 minutes or so.

When you're done, take the hair-tie out and "shake" your head until your hair is completely down.

ok.. I have stick straight hair that will hardly do ANYTHING.. but this is how I get mine to scruch it looks really good (if I must say so myself) (lol)

What you need:::

curling shampoo
curling conditioner
blow dryer
towel
volumising mousse
scruching or spraying gel
extra hold hairspray

What You Do:::
*- First, wash you hair and condtion it (NOTE:Make sure all the shampoo and conditioner is washed out unless directed on the bottle)
*- Then rub you hair lightly with the towel.. dont make it real dry.. but dont have it dripping wet
*- Flip your head upside down and put the volumising mousse in (NOTE: while working it into the hair reach up as if you was grasping for something and push the ends of your hair to the roots [NOTE inside NOTE: don't let any of the peices fall do it in small sections at a time])
*-Now put the gel onto your hands, rub your hands together and reach up and grasp you hair in your hands, do this all over several times
*-Now pull out the blowdryer and on low blowdry your hair while still grasping it in one hand (NOTE:you don't have to have your head flipped over for this step)
*-If you are satisfied, spray it and wala! If you are not keep grasping it, and spraying it!

Shampoo and condition with products formulated to improve your hair's texture and flexibility.

Towel dry your hair so that it is damp, not dripping.

Apply a firm hold styling aid from the root area to the ends. Hair Gel or Glaze is usually better for heavy hair and Styling Foam or Mousse usually works for fine hair. You may have to experiment to see which works for you.

To dry your hair, you will either use a diffuser or let it dry naturally. Either way, you must be patient to not rush the drying process.

To scrunch your hair, you put gel or spray on your hair and then you just squeeze your hair until the spray or gel dries.
