May I suggest a different perspective? Don't think about "losing" weight for the sake of losing weight. I would suggest putting your attention on being happy, exercising regularly, and eating the foods that make you happy (not just short-term indulgence). All the best with Graduation!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

Try just being conscious of what you are eating... In other words, lay off fried stuff, eat lowfat dairy, and CONTROL your portions. If you go out, split whatever you are eating with a friend. Every restaurant in the world gives you twice as much food as you need. Order the salad, and have veggies rather than tons of bread and potatoes... Drink skim milk rather than whole, etc... At your age and weight, you probably don't need to lose much, but if you just eat healthy - you will see a difference. Oh, and alchohol is fattening as anything else possible!! Happy Graduation, what an accomplishment!!

Eating several SMALL meals a day (instead of 3 large meals) believe it or not works. I wanted to lose 20 lbs, so what I did was eat fruit, low fat lunch meat, water or kool-aid (instead of soda which made me bloated), soup, low fat TV dinners sometimes, but never did I skip a meal or my body would just keep the fat. Then I exercised on a treadmill (on an incline) for about 20-30 minutes a day, but don't overdo it or you may end up getting sick of it. If you stick to that, you will lose that weight. Walking on an incline also helps tone and shrink any fat on upper and lower legs. Good luck and happy holidays to you too! :)

You give your weight but not your height or age. I'd suggest finding your Body Mass Index (BMI). This is a good indicator of whether your weight in is line with your height. Don't focus only on the number on your scale! http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/

Think about improving your overall fitness level - not just loosing weight. Take a close look at your diet and activity level. Reduce sugar and fat wherever you can, increase water, fruit and vegetables. Don't skip meals. Walking, biking, swimming, and weight training are all great ways to boost your metabolism and help with fitness and weight loss. Good luck - remember, keep it healthy!

Very easy, Excercise (bike, jog, treadmill). drink 5-8 glasses of water a day. Eat moderately.... big breakfast... salads.. fruits and nuts *peanuts, almonds...main thing is do not weigh yourself everday ..weigh yourself once a week.. or once every two weeks.. and you will notice a change... if by chance you have a craving for some high calorie food... eat it during the day... and not at night... and eat half of it.. the key is to eat in moderation and excercise for successful weight loss.. hope this helps.

If you weigh in the 120's and 130's you don't need to loose any weight.

If you can hire a personal trainer......they usually train people so their body can look great for a big event. If not......eat healthy, drink lots of water, exercise regularly, and try not to anything after 4:00 pm. Good Luck!
