See if you can get her to go to the animal shelter with you. Or it might be easier to get to her to go with you to PetSmart or Petco when they have the adoption days to look at the animals. If you can't have one, you can look...and maybe if she looks, there might be a captivating kitten available that it would be hard to say "No" too.

You lost your Privileges in the past. If you were more responsible you would probably still have had the kitten or would have been getting a new one. No offense you sound so immature and selfish. You are better of not getting a kitten. What the heck do you mean by you don't know what happened? If I were your mother I wouldn't even let you think about getting another one. When you grow up and learn what responsibilities are than you get one. Your mother can't always be cleaning up after you. And don't think if you get another cat she will be less noisy. My cat is loud and so wild at night but I don't lock her in a carrier, that's just rude! Your mother didn't lock you up when you made noises as a baby. Do your mother a favor and do not get another kitten until you grow up. Cats are a BIG RESPONSIBILITY! a lot more harder than taking care of a human baby. You are not up for it, and no you don't love cats. What you said up there is not love for cats. It's just kiddish love, you don't care if it poops and stuff you won't clean it up. you just want to cuddle the baby and I bet when the kitten gets old you will kick it out. Go buy barbie dolls and fake cat toys and play with those.

Let your mom know how much having a kitten means to you. Be honest, you may not always want to change the litter, or even feed the kitten, once it grows up.. but tell your mom that the kitten will there to not only be loved by everyone in the family, and snuggle on everyones lap, but will also be there to give love..and provide a great ear for listening to anyone who cares to share words with it. They definitely keep secrets!
I agree with one answer, where she suggested you and your mom visit an animal shelter, rescue, or petco (on their adoption days). Tell your mom that this kitten is something you and she can share together..and everyone deserves a wonderful furry angel! Just think, you would be saving the life of an animal, by giving it a forever home with loving people!

Just do what my brother and I did 15 years ago when we were all living together. Bring home the cat...hide it from your mom for 3 days and then out of nowhere ..tell her .. there's a cat in the house and it has been living with us for a week. If your mom has a heart like my mom did.. she'll accept the cat and you and your cat will have a great life together. I'll never forget the first night with our cat...for some reason the cat kept jumping up on my bed wanting to sleep with me . I took her off 2 times but when she jumped on a third.. I was like .. awww forget it .. and slept with the cat .

Just bring the cat home and try your best to hide it for a long as u can..by the time they discover the cat..the cat will already have a home .

In order to show your Parents you level of responsibility you meet THE RESPONSIBILITY of Animal Ownership = present a Contract to your Parents!

You will have the Sole Responsibility to CARE, FEED, Change the Litter Box on a Regular Basis, every 3-or-4 day, And all other Related Duties for the Kitten.

IF the Kitten DAMAGES, anything YOU will have the Sole Responsibility TO REPLACE OR REPAIR said Item / Items.

Also a Penalty Clause, with One or Two Warnings! IF after one or two warnings you CHOOSE TO FAIL to live up to the side of THE CONTRACT YOU SIGN...... Then..... You will get rid of said Kitten or Cat?

Thanks, RR

Well. Have you taken good care for the other animals you had? If so, I can't see why she will say no to a kitten. I think that kittens are cute, and they need less care than a dog.

So I suggest that you tell your mom that you want a kitten, and that you will take real care of it, give it food, etc. She will tell you that you had many animals at home, but you will tell her that the kitten will be absolutely no trouble for her because you will take care of it, not her. And say "pleeeeease!!!".

And, if she says yes, you should take care of it as you promised, so your mom can be proud and trust in you. If not, she will take the kitten to a shelter before you know it, and will not let you have another animal ever.

My older child had a dog that I had to take care of. I took it away to a shelter!! It is nonetheless to say that I will not get another animal until he gets big enough to know his responsibility of taking care of an animal.

Hope this helps.

Sit your mum down and tell her how much you want this kitten. Tell her how much you will care for it and how you will look after it. You have to make your mum see how dedicated you are to this little ball of fluff. If she sees how mature your acting, she may come round to the prospect of getting a kitten.

Well explain to her that you don't hav eto potty train it , don't have to take it on walks. So I guess what I am saying is compare puppies with kittens. Then she would get to thinking..

Any more info? if so just keep asking questions to browniegirl1978
