There are people out there who judge so harshly, and do so in the name of religion or God. Whats your view on this? If you are one of these people, why would your wonderful God make people so different? Even if it is something that person chooses, God gave them the ability to choose. And if you dont beleive that, what do you think about people who do?

Where in scripture does it say that He wants us to all be the same? It says to be of one mind, but not to be the same. It even goes further to talk about people having gifts, that all work together for one purpose. But I don't recall it saying we have to be the same.

Our God is a God of VARIETY. Not even two snowflakes are alike.

What you are asking about is people' s JUDGEMENT of others ....according to themselves. This wickedness is a result of our first parents choosing to disobey God and eating the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil......to make themselves as gods.

Only God was to be the judge of all. And HE CREATED US ALL DIFFERENT.

As soon as Adam and Eve began to judge...they had to wear clothes because they knew their partner was judging them.

Throughout the Bible God says "Don't judge others!!!".

Rom 14:4
4 Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
(from New International Version)

Matt 7:1-5
7:1 "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

3 "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.
(from New International Version)

John 8:15
15 You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no one.
(from New International Version)

Rom 14:9-10
10 You, then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before God's judgment seat.
(from New International Version)

Every parent wants their kid to be good in school. Some have children that are all good in school. None of those children are the same yet they were all good in school.

Now regarding parents who chastise their kids who are not good instead of positively motivating them, I think it's sad.

Now, replace school with religion, it's the same thing.

He wants us to be of the same heart, but gave us free will, that allows our individuality. I am not the "same" as my husband, but we have the "same" beliefs.
