Is it hard to change the trans filter and oil with this car on jack stands and me on a creeper?

No. But I hope this is not the first oil change. If so forget it and rebuild it. Switch to Sync. ATF in your new trans and add a trans cooler. Change Sync. every 85,000 miles and your trans will last the lifetime of engine.

Good luck why? there is no filter. Just a screen. Drain and refill four qts of dextron ATF. If the transmission fluid smells burnt do not change unless you want to start walking to work.

just get the flush done with new penzoil dexron III.
