let me get deeper in detail, it is not a preference thing, in the rifle range, all is fair because it be fellow marines and soldiers working the target area. its a science to it, i been in the marine corps long enough to see this. for some reason, blue eyes, like one answerer answered earlier, has a better fix on the target. i just want to know if someone knows the science to it

Eye color has nothing to do with one's vision or ability to use it. It is not even the part of the eye that sees. Skin color doesn't either. Brain wiring may be what you're asking, but I think that you have to realize that what you're really comparing is rifle experts that have been tested and/or trained by a certain facility. Perhaps if you tested every "black" man who uses a rifle against every "white" man who uses a rifle, for all you know, the black men are far superior. My point again in saying that, is only that you are looking at a specific subset of the larger group.

The most likely answer is that caucasians have been running the show for centuries and have likely been threatened by the mere thought of a black man sharp shooter. So, I think it's most likely that the environment has to do with this difference, if it does indeed exist (which it likely does; just not proven here).

Your wrong it is a racist question. Try the mean streets of most major cities they may not be experts with rifles but they sure can fire up a crowd. You figure out the they, 'cause I would not want to be as racist as you are....

How childish your remarks are, but just to add to your racist feelings both my husband and I are blue eyed caucasians and experts with the old long gun, most pistols and revolvers. However, I truly doubt it has anything to do with our skin or eye color. I have practiced since college days in order to get my job.

Precison firing only requires putting the round in the same place each time. To do that only requires practice, and does not have a thing to do with eye color.

I do not really want to answer but;

I suspect that 'white" Americans" are more often raised in the shooting, hunting culture.

Then again, many second generation even third African-Americans are the children of veterans, so who knows?

When one metions "blue eyed" we think of Nazi racist stuff.

Studying that would be a much better use of government funds than most of what they fund today. There might be something to it. The only one who would know for sure is God. I am not seeing him for a long time.

No , expertise with a rifle, or other firearms is NOT related to race or eye color whatsoever, as it is to individual skill.
