You have to be over 21. The length of time you have held the licence once you are over 21 is not applicable, however, to get your Instructors Documents you are going to have to pass the equivilent of an Advanced Driver's Test to demonstrate you are safe to instruct learner's. Consequently, you will need some driving experience.

u shud be over 21 yr of age and shud have a full 3 yrs uk driving permit... for teaching a person how to drive.

you need to be 21, hold your licence for 3 year and have less than 6 points.

I think it's 3 years, but I also think I heard somewhere that you have to be at least 21. Not sure about that though.
