i recently upgraded my computer and it has installed the new media player but i prefer the older one i had ( it was about 2 years old so may of been media player 7. something or other ) many thank`s in advance for you help .

yes u can delete the latest version of windows media player and download a older 1 u can get tham at this web site have fun

get wmp 1o
un-install it
reverts to wmp 9
you need to un-install your current version of the player
or it will not roll back
to remove wmp 11
start
set program access and defaults
or control panel
add/remove programs
wmp 11
remove
also ,uncheck /clear "check for updates" in add/remove programs
restart your pc

you will find that many sites stream their media in WMP10 or higher
WMP11 will be out soon ( if it's not already)
I don't recommend reverting to an older version

remove the new version and restart and see if the old version is there.You have to remove it anyway
