Any Iraqi government that exists under U.S. occupation will not be considered legitimate by a lot of the populace, so until the U.S. leaves, there will always be civil war. Plus there are plenty of people from all over the Middle East willing to fight that war.

Israel and Palestine have shown that the same war can be fought forever. Iraq won't have peace until the U.S. leaves, and for quite some time afterward.

Depends how you look at it.

I dont think we should stay, we did our job and gave them the tools to fight the Insurgents. They have better fighting skills and a smaller enemy then the Colonist did against the British.

We gave them the oppurunity and now the IRAQIS need to take charge; if we stay theyll be better of FOR NOW. But when we finally pull out, theyll fall like South Vietnam fell because they wont know how to survive on their own.

Remained. Most people probably won't agree with me, but our troops should stay. If they pull out, the government will collapse and it'll be much worse then.

If we leave now, the Iraqis will not be able to defend themselves. Iran will take over, along with Syria. The US will be toast because we would have shown the terrorists yet again that we are all bark and no bite.

Remain, Iran is just waiting to take over.
