I pretty sure I have shingles on one side of my chin. It looks bad and feels even worse. If you've ever had this on your face, how long did it take to go away and what did you put on it?

Shingles is one of the most painful conditions you can endure...it involves your nerve endings, and starts in the spinal area/torso. Once it reaches your face it's extremely serious. If you think you have it go to the doctor immediately.

You know I have never heard of any one having shingles on their face. It is part of the chicken pox/herpes virus. I would go in and get checked out if you can.

If you think you have shingles you should call your doctor. You'll likely need prescription medicine.
