You guys notice how there are certain people who show up and all of a sudden EVERYONE gets a thumbs down? (There's a new one in town recently.)
Regardless if they're giving good, bad or indifferent advice. It doesn't matter if someone is just sharing their own experience either.
You know.....it's wonderful to be knowledgeable and to share that with others, but giving everyone else a thumbs down only makes you look arrogant.
(Not talking about Tyke, I'm used to that one LOL)
And it doesn't bother me, really. So no lectures about not letting it get to me or that if I don't like it I should leave. I was just wondering i anyone else noticed the trend?
Go ahead...gimme your thumbs down! I want it!

I own one of those so-called "designer dogs" and am proud of it so I am use to getting thumbs down. Whenever I say how wonderful my Bichonpoo is and explain my decision to buy rather than adopt I get a thumbs down. I love my dog. She is the greatest. She is also the best thing that has happened to me in a long time. I have multiple sclerosis and this pup (she is 5 months) is really in tune with me has brightened my life tremendously. I am not ashamed of owning a "designer dog" and if anyone wants to give me a thumbs down well you know what they can do with that thumb.

I have noticed that some questions get a lot of thumbs down. I haven't noticed if this has been more recent or not.
I don't think I've ever given a question a thumbs down. I will for answers, though, if the "answer" doesn't address the question I asked and is really more of a tangent.

Hey, it ain't me!!!! I know that everywhere I post I get a "thumbs down". And it is interesting that all my questions get deleted....all for different reasons!!!!!!!!!!! I never even rate anyone questions OR answers. It does nothing.
I seem to have a "secret fan" out there!! LMFAO!!!
Oh, I guess I did actually give YOU a thumbs up on the "can the neutered Doxie still sire"...thought it was good that someone told them to spay the dog. I would have gotten reported for that.
I will stop rating anymore.
It would just be nice if the "party poopers" would fess up!!! If they are so happy giving a thumbs down to everyone, and getting answers AND questions deleted.....why not let EVERYONE know it was them????????? Then we could all STALK them!!!!

I've also noticed thumbs down on good questions, where folks could actually learn something in the thread.
I don't see many thumbs down on questions and answers relating to, "What should I name my dog?" or "Is my dog gay?" etc (ad nauseum).

It is just to irritate others, like another post said. It is probably the same people that report everything to get it deleted. I could care less. I get nasty emails, maybe I shouldn't allow emails but I think some are pretty funny.

Yup, see it all the time here. Oh well. Not like it means anything really anyway. I swear the "thumbs" voting is there just to irritate others.

Hey, I got a thumbs down for saying Merry Christmas. I don't care who or why they do it. If its because someone doesn't like me it just means I proved them wrong. If its because they think my answer is no good well.......that's their opinion. Oh and even if it does get me a thumbs down.......Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
