Baking powder and baking soda are slightly different. Baking soda is an ingredient in baking powder, along with several other components. Usually, a baking powder is designed to contain all the needed components to create a leavening chemical reaction, only one of which is baking soda. So, if you want to substitute baking powder for baking soda, you may want to use slightly more than the recipe calls for to make sure that you still get the same amount of baking soda called for. However, this will also change the taste of your cookies somewhat. Swapping out sugar is not as big a deal, although brown sugar has a more complex flavour.

Baking mix is the same as Bisquick, it's flour with baking soda and/or baking powder added. Baking soda is the same as bicarbonate of soda, like Arm and Hammer, that you can use for baking or cleaning or as an air freshener, like in your fridge.

No.. Baking mix can be a mixture that is ready to be added to water or milk and it alrready has a pre-measured amount of baking power and flour in it.. It is possible that it already has soda.. depending on what is being baked.
There is no such thing as a BAKING SODA.. There is SODA that is used for baking

Baking Soda is Sodium Bicarbonate (helps a cake or bread to rise in the oven). Baking mix contains different ingredients for baking (like flour, or powdered chocolate for baking a cake).

Baking Mix is a combination product. It will have white flour, salt, baking soda (possibly baking powder) and a pulverized fat product in it...
It is not either flour alone nor baking soda alone
