what u are experiencing could be what is called olfactory hallucinations, which are odors a person smells that are not there. it is usually associated with schizophrenia, and some believe it can be related to medication for depression. i have seen some cases with people with severe stress experience this, but it is usually short lived. if u type in olfactory hallucinations u will get a lot of information. i could have put one for u to read, but they are confusing, and you should not diagnose yourself, regarding the causes of these smells. after u have checked out your bedroom and your dwelling carefully and cannot find this odor annoyware, then i would consult a doctor. some times events and certain surroundings can trigger this. i may be way off , but i would consult a professional to find out why this is happening to you. hope this helps you. good luck

I once got very depressed.
I noticed that I had this weird smell whenever I was feeling bad. It was the smell of stress. Hard to describe.
Take more showers. Use deodorants, perfumes, talc and mouthwash. Mask the odor with room freshers, strong bleach sprays, or incense. Ventilate your rooms often.
Exercise vigorously an hour a day and 6 days a week. Find a sport where you really sweat, i.e. racquetball, tennis or full contact karate.
I find that this really flushes your pores. You will stink more when you start to exercise, but once the sweat comes out, it flushes your glands. Drink lots of water to replenish liquids. Any amount of exercise helps with depression.
You might want to try [butterfly stroke] swimming, and get two for the price of one. My skin stinks of bleach (from the pool), but then it also really gets me squeaky clean.

Not to be mean but are you taking some type of drugs because I heard that when you take drugs for so many years that you create some type of odor. I think you should just see your doctor or do some research on the Internet...

Maybe your depression is from some sort of undiagnosed physical ailment. When I was a little kid, I apparently gave off a mild "odor" when I was about to have a severe asthma attack within the next week.

Hmm, not sure about that. Perhaps you should try an anti-depressant, and also use air fresheners. Maybe you keep your bedroom door closed to much? Open windows to air it out.

if this odor only hits you when you enter your bedroom, maybe your sheets need washing
