Yes they are, it just takes longer for them to be able to show it;

My grandson is autistic. Jacob couldn't tell the difference between a cookie and bubbles. Now he's able to even play roller-coaster, computer video game at the fastest level with the patience and care of my son's loving parental care.
I look in the future for him to be quarterback for the Steelers.
No limits, no excuses.
All love - all children need love, time and praise!
GOD bless.

I am not real clear on what you are asking. If you want to know if Autistic kids are capable of love, then your answer is yes. Just the same as any other person.

Of course they are, it's just that many of them don't show it in traditional ways. I have been babysitting my friends two autistic children since they were very young, and simply have learned to cherishthe moments when they come and sit next to me, or take me by the hand to show me the computer game they are playing. Love comes in MANY different forms.

It depends, I guess. Autism affects each person differently.
