Why do people belive in evolution even though there is no evidence of it? How can we come from monkeys? We look nothing like them, they are hairy, small, and unintelgent. Why do atheist say that there is no evidence of god, look at the grand canyon. There must have been a big flood to create that (noah) . Creation is also written in the bible which is accurate documents.

The introduction to Genesis and to the whole Bible ascribes everything to the living God, creating, making, acting, moving, and speaking. There is no room for evolution without a flat denial of Divine revelation. One must be true the other false. All of God’s works are good, great, wondrous, and perfect.

Man starts from nothing. He begins in helplessness, ignorance, and inexperience. All his works, therefore, proceed on the principle of evolution. This principle is only seen in human affairs: from the hut to the palace; from the canoe to the ocean liner; from the spade to the plowshare to machines. But the birds build their nests today as at the beginning. There is growth and development within man, but no passing, change, or evolution out from one into another.

For this theory or fallacy of evolution to be true there would be evident stages of evolution today. You would be able to find species in many stages of evolution in nature right now. For this theory or fallacy of evolution to be true there would be no God. And that’s exactly what evolutionists believe and are trying prove. The evolutionist bases his or her conclusions on human assumptions and reasoning, instead of on the documentary evidence of the manuscripts.

The stupid, it burns!

"Why do people belive in evolution even though there is no evidence of it?"

They don't. They believe *with* evidence, not without it. Believing without evidence is the definition of faith. That's what you do, though for the life of me I can't understand how you can shut your brain off to do it.

"How can we come from monkeys?"

They don't, and by saying this you've proven that you have no idea what evolution actually teaches.

"We look nothing like them, they are hairy, small, and unintelgent."

Even if your previous statement about wasn't completely moronic, I can say that I have met more than a few hairy, small, and stupid humans.

"Why do atheist say that there is no evidence of god, look at the grand canyon."

The grand canyon is not evidence of god, it's evidence of a ******* river, you retard.

"There must have been a big flood to create that (noah) ."

No... just no. Even if a global flood were possible, please explain to me why a *global* flood would gouge out a deep canyon in one small part of the world. Floods don't make canyons, rivers do, it can be seen all over the world.

"Creation is also written in the bible which is accurate documents."

Argumentum ad "cuz I say so", ehh?

Edit: "Where did we come from then? Somthing had to create us."

Why? If everything that exists had to be created then your god can't exist, unless he was created too, and in turn god's Creator created and so on and so on forever.

"How can one animal change to another?"

Small changes over time. Just look at dogs. The vast majority of breeds of dogs used to be wolves. We chose their mates for certain characteristics and bred them until they became what they are today. A lot different than wolves, and it only took a couple millenia or so. Imagine what can happen in a million, or billion years.

Okay, let's start with the first question: "Why do people believe in evolution even though there is no evidence of it?" Answer: If there is no evidence of it, where did Neanderthals come from? Better yet, look into Charles Darwin, that may help you.

Next, "They are hairy, small and unintelligent" I don't know about hairy and small, but you definitely need to work on YOUR intelligence.

Oh, yes, the Grand Canyon..... Well, since there's obviously no evidence of a river running thru it, or any signs whatsoever of wind and water erosion, it must be from a "big flood". Right....

And the final part of your, um, noble speech. "The bible which is accurate documents." (You never paid attention to grammar in school, did you?) Who exactly wrote the Bible? Men. Oh sure, men "inspired by God". In other words, men. Man has a history of turning things around to suit man's supposed needs. Like when man "needed" to convert the heathen pagans to Christianity. So man "needed" to change pagan holidays to christian ones (for example Yule = Christmas). Well if man "needed" to "save" the Pagans, then man "needed" something to back it up with. Hence man wrote the bible. Did God inspire it, or did Man?

Some people believe in evolution because there *is* evidence to back it up. Plus, the results of evolution can be seen throughout the world by simple observation.

Also, humans did not "come from monkeys." Monkeys and humans have a common ancestor. And who said monkeys are "unintelgent"? How did you come to that conclusion?

Why must creation and evolution be separate concepts? There is nothing but personal opinion that indicates that both cannot co-exist. Everything was created by the Divine. Evolution was the "tool" used to acheive that result.

I don't know if you are small and hairy but I "belive" you to be "unintelgent"

You are certainly uninformed and uneducated.

There is overwhelming evidence that evolution is fact. You simply choose to ignore or "not believe" the evidence. I'm sorry, but facts don't require your belief for them to exist, unlike god. I won't go into the evidence on this forum, http://talkreason.com is a good starting point for you to do your own reading. Actually, reading almost any book OTHER than the bible would be good for you.

The Grand Canyon is not proof of god's existence any more than are rainbows, as there are good natural explanations for both. The science behind the explanations is based on 100's of years of progressive experiment and refinement of theories. What most religionists fail to grasp is that the scientific method involves testing a theory by coming up with experiments to DISPROVE it. And some really smart scientists have come up with all kinds of creative ways to try and disprove evolution for about 150 years now, and FAILED.

What is it you guys have again? Oh yeah, some books copied from copies of copies of translations of translations of copies of some stories that some people repeated in the oral tradition for a few generations before that. And this document, which is COMPLETELY RIDDLED with error, contradiction, cruelty, absurdity, inconsistency and just plain nonsense is somehow the pearls of wisdom from a supremely intelligent and powerful supernatural being master of space and time and all that ever is and ever was.......well....some of us have another take on that. You should listen, no...you really should.

How do you know the bible is "accurate documents"?
Because it is the word of god? How do you know it is the word of god? Because it is "accurate documents" lol....sorry....the circular logic of using the bible as evidence of itself carries no weight.

Hooo boy! Here we go.

There is evidence of evolution. Think flu shots, dog breeds - and don't give the "not evolving between kinds" BS. Define a "kind" if you do. Plenty of other evidence - read science publications.

We don't come from monkeys - nobody says we did. Monkeys and humans came from a common ancester that looked exactly like neither. Plus we DO look like monkeys. Two arms, two legs, face with two eyes, etc.

Grand Canyon - caused by the water in the river over millions of years. No wordwide flood needed, just an understanding of the reality of what millions of years is like.

Why do you think the bible is an accurate document? It's full of contradictions.

"There is no evidence of it" yeah exept the vast majority of scientific studies and findings in the past 400 or so years. There's that evidence. You know, if you turned on your brain for mabey a day and just walked around, like anywhere, you'd probably start to see evidence of evolution in everything. Even the lines in our faces match the outlines of monkeys faces (the mouth through the nose and the eye sockets, very similar)

"How can we come from monkeys?"
Why the **** would there be spider monkeys, apes, chimpanzees, lemurs, and us all living in the same world if we didn't all come from a common ancestor?? Like, really? There have been plenty of animals that branched from monkeys, there have been plenty of monkeys that went extinct because they could not survive in the changing environments. That'scalled natural selection, whitch coincides with evolution.

"Look at the Grand canyon" I don't even know what to do with this, you obviously don't understand the process of erosion.

If you really want to know about Evolution and Earth History go to a Library and borrow some books and the READ THEM. Then maybe you could ask some informed questions on the subject and not spout out the same gibberish everyone else does here.
Try getting hold of Jarred Diamonds the Third Chimpanzee.
Or any Geological History Book. Or Telling Lies For God by Ian Plimer. If you really believe in the flood the last one is the book for you!!

Yea, because Noah was really living in the region of the Grand Canyon. *rolls eyes* And sure the flood was supposed to cover the whole earth...

...so then why does the GREATEST MOST DEVASTATING FLOOD OF ALL TIME....seem to be a river that ran through ONE canyon in the US? Why aren't there 1000 "Grand Canyons"..?

And the Bible must be SO ACCURATE since it's been translated roughly and poorly over 2000 years on poor paper and poor perserving conditions with parts omitted and changed. -_-

If God was going to give us a "Good Book" I would think he would tattoo it in our DNA, or make a celestial pattern in the sky that never changes...and that anyone who looked upon it could actually read it in their own native language.

........-_- Do tigers and house cats look anything alike? How about orcas and dolphins? Hammerhead sharks...and whalesharks?

How about a dwarf (no offense to small people) and the tallest Chinese man in the world?

Evolution is supported by extensive evidence. You don't think that we look like monkeys, but how many infinitely small changes (mutations) would it take to produce Homo Sapiens? That's how evolution works -- tiny changes that produce improved survivability (natural selection) that leads to passing on those improved traits, not giant, all-at-once steps. The process has been cleverly described as "error and trial".

Human DNA differs from that of chimpanzees by only a very small amount, and there are long sequences of identical coding.

Why do people believe in God even though there is no evidence of Him? How do we come from dirt? We look nothing like it, it is small, dark, and foolish. Why do theists say there is no evidence of macroevolution, look at fossil records. There must have been a big change of genetic structure to create that (DNA). Evolution is also written in the Origin of Species which is accurate documents.
