Interested to hear the various answers to this one... Is life too short and you should engage in casual sex (safe, of course) in between relationships or should you always wait to be in love (which means waiting for a long time)?

Emma- Sometimes casual sex seems like a great thing to do when something is missing in our life. Don't jump into sex with the wrong person as a way to fill those needs (so to speak) lol I think it's better to be alone for the right reasons than to be with someone for the wrong. Anyone that has their eyes open can see that short term pleasure can have very long term consequences even with safe sex.

you are right life is short to short to share your body with casual unattached people. wait for love. Life is a one way street you have no second chances. if you engage in casual sex, while waiting to the right guy when he comes along he will not want you because he wants a fresh meal not left overs.

Sex with me is not a casual thing. By the same token, it's not something that is sacred or holy and I don't have to be "in love" to do it. I enjoy doing it but would rather have no sex than use someone for casual meaningless sex.

To me its hard to have casual sex.. i dont understand how people do it.. To me having sex has to much feeling and meaning for it to be just that.. Finding your true love doesnt always take a long time either It all depends on the situation..

It is ok to have casual sex with a woman in between relationships.
this goes for both men and women.
It is NOT ok for a woman to have sex with a man in between relationships and not acceptable for a man to ever have sex with another man.

Yeah but life is also shortened when you get a disease from having casual sex...I'd say wait for love..but it IS a personal call.

I think you should wait for many reasons and I suggest you to have alot of friends and maybe you can chose one of them to be your best friend that might help you to wait untel you find the one.
