unfortunately, not unless they are abusing you in some way then you can report them to authorities and they will remove you. BUT you will go where they tell you, not where you want to go. Till you are 18, you are stuck under someone else's care. pssssst: By abuse I mean either physically or mentally. Just because they won't let you go out Sat. night with a bunch of loser friends is NOT abuse. Be aware of what you are accusing someone of if you go that route or it will backfire on you BIG TIME. you going to need a strong case against your parents to file abuse charges against them. TUFF IT OUT unless you can provide ALL food, shelter, clothes, transportation to/from wherever you need to get to, personals, furniture for apartment, phone, cable, elec, etc. THINK ABOUT IT FIRST. You can become emancipated like some others suggest, but by the time that happens, you will be 18.

You can ask your parents if you can leave, or, you can be impossible to live with so they will throw you out.
Why would you want to move out? It is expensive and hard to live on your own or even with someone your age.
If you can prove to your parents that you are mature, resourceful, have a good continual source of income and good prospects for your future, they should let you.
If you do not have things all neatly lined up to take care of yourself into your future, then I think you are better off staying with your parents until you are ready.
Don't be in a hurry. You might regret moving out too quickly. Save the money, go to school.

In some states you must be 17 or older. Otherwise you have to have their permission. Call the police station in your town and ask. I did that and they told me they couldn't make me come home if I left. I was 17. And I left.

yes you can. but it is hard and it is a long process. it's called emancipation. you have to go to a judge and explain why you don't want to live there anymore, and you must also provide proof you can live on your own and contribute to society. this is difficult because you will have to provide a place to live for yourself. most people will not sell/ rent to minors. anymore questions i would check into the family- legal services

I left home at the age of 16. It was hard... and if I had to do it over again, I wouldn't have left... I would have finished my college and university schooling so I wouldn't be having a rough time of life...
What's so bad that you want to leave??????????

Very probably you can't. However there's a chance: you can call 311 and tell them that you are being abused and you want to move out. But in this case you'll need proof.
Good luck!

Divorce your parents! Each state is different, you will need to go to court to make it real. You will also have to prove you are self-supporting and will be able to complete you education(high school).
