Since you have not washed your faced in a few weeks, it has probably caused some type of bacteria buildup which is causing some type of "mold" to grow. I would go see your local dermatologist for further help if not better. Also you could go to a medical/dermatology website for reference. About the wife situation, just tell her that you can't help what is happening to your face and that the people at the wedding are counting on you to be there. Hope this helps!!!!

I just got my degree in marine biology. It sounds to me like a simple case of rhotundrun syndrome. It is not fatal to the fish, but is a "common cold" of sorts. Even though it is not that serious, you MUST get the black stuff off of them or it will take over their entire body. The "mold" as you call it is a mineral deposit developing on their scales, which means that they are not absorbing the minerals in their food properly. To remedy this, you will need to do the following in the exact procedure that I spell out. First, prepare a mix of rubbing alcohol and black pepper. It should be runny, not pastey. Then, apply this mixture on a Q-tip. Catch one fish in your net and CAREFULLY hold it still on its sides. Make sure your hands are freshly washed so that the fish does not catch anything else. Then, apply the mixture to the affected area. Make sure you do this quickly so that the fish doesn't have to be out of water for long. Then, replace the fish into the water. Within 24 hours, the fish should be back to normal. Hope this helps!

She probably doesn't want you to look weird. I would do the same because you never know if the wedding couple would fire you because you have mold on your beard.
