If somebody got silver fillings over their teeth, can it be repplaced with white colored filling so it doesnt look obvious when one laughs?

Unless there is something wrong with the filling, it's probably best to leave them as they are. For one thing, the mercury in the silver filling could be released as the dentist drills into it and another, they would have to remove more healthy tooth structure as they drill out the old filling and create retention for the new one. Then you have to think about price. Insurance covers a filling only so often and sometimes they don't cover the full amount of the white ones. But it's up to you - and the dentist. Some will do it. I'm not sure, but I will not let a Dentist put silver in my mouth. I have heard to many bad reports.

I do know someone who took there 2 kids into the Dentist, and that Dentist didn't put any silver in there mouths, even there back teeth were filled with white fillings.

I would sure go ask if I was you, and don't ask just one. Get a couple of opinions....

Yes, They just drill out the silver and put in the acrylic filling.

Yes it can it may be costly unless you replace ones that are needing to be replaced.
