my husband (who has been in the military for 6 years and has been to Iraq twice) saved my two little boys and myself from a brutal marriage, married me, adopted my two little boys, we had one of our own and are expecting twins. I am on bed rest, he waits on me, cleans the house, plays with the boys, takes them to church, and does all of their school projects. He is the most loving man alive, and for you to be so ignorant and immature shows why the world is how it is. So the guy who drove drunk last night and killed the little girl when he hit the van the little girl was riding in, he doesn't have a heart, he does not have the capacity to love. It is BAD people who do not have the capacity to love, not the people who are risking their lives for your freedom to be on this damn computer rattling your mouth off.

Yes men in the Army can have a heart to love a women just because they kill people in Iraq and other places doesn't mean that they are any different than you and I. There is a big difference between a killer and a soldier a soldier kills to pretect all of us. I hope this helps.

If a police man has to kill a man because he was threatening school kids with a gun, does that mean that he goes home that night and no longer loves his wife and kids?
Not everyone in the army goes around killing people. Their goal is to get the country's mission accomplished, and to come home safe.
And even if they do kill people, they do it because it is their job. They are out there doing what they do because they are trying to protect the people that they love and the life that they have.
The ones who kill people because they enjoy it...those are the ones you need to worry about. But they usually won't be all warm and cuddly when they get back anyway.

Yes. It would be an awful thing to have to serve your country only to come home and find there is no one to love and no one to love you back. They aren't killing for fun, it is a kill or be killed situation and more of a "job requirement" if you will. Most of these people serving our country would have to be very loving to give up the luxuries they have, family, friends and past-time fun to put their own lives on hold and on the line for people they have never met in the hopes of a better future for the next generation to come.
I would think it would be harder to find a military person who didn't have the heart to love.

You've got to look at the issue here.....Military men and women are not murderers, they go out in the world to ensure that the people that they love back home are safe and can live happy and wonderful lives. They aren't heartless, the military teaches their members techniques to discern between who is an enemy and who is a civilian and they typically do their very best to ensure that no one is harmed while they are overseas. I can't speak for all military members but I do know that the ones that I know do not enjoy combat, they do it for the freedom and livelyhood of everyone here in the states.
What I'm saying is that YES absolutly they love just as the rest of us. You should be proud of our armed forces for protecting our country day in and day out. I would be honored to be with a man that spent his career making sure that I can be safe.
Give them a break.......the military isn't evil, they're doing their jobs.

Yes. most of them do. Just because they kill people as their job doesn't mean they don't have the heart to love someone.

Ofcourse, they have the heart to love! They are only doing it b/c it's a job. It's part of being in the army to protect and serve your country.

Your question is questionable. Anyone can love and the men and women that are in the military are only doing their jobs. They don't want to hurt or kill anyone! It's their job to protect our country and that means killing the people who are a large threat to our nation. They love their families and they love their country!

Yes....they love to kill people.
now the real answer!
Actually what they are doing when they kill people is their job. They do this because they love their country and the people in it. They put their lives on the line to protect they country and people they love.
I think that says a lot about their ability to love.

Do you think that because they kill for the government, who, incidentally does not give them the choice to kill, it is either kill or be killed! That they do not have feelings? I'll bet most of them feel even deeper for what they have been thru and if you gain their trust you'll have their love for a lifetime.
